Love it, should have bought it long ago!
As a long-time user of Casio watches (30+ years) I recently was in the market for a new watch after my old one had taken a beating and was due to be replaced. Now, after having this watch for a week or so I am just as happy and impressed with it as the first day it arrived.First, the atomic time-keeping feature is something that is most helpful, and it's not a new experience for me since I also have this feature on a dressy Casio watch given to me by my wife for our anniversary a few years ago. It insures that a person never has to worry about making sure the watch is set to the correct time frequently updating itself from the atomic time clock in Colorado.Another thing that attracted me to this watch is the mineral crystal, unlike most digital watches that have a plastic crystal these days. This feature--coupled with a raised bezel around the perimeter--helps to prevent scratches caused by day-to-day wear and tear, especially when worn in a work environment. It also has a stainless bezel around the perimeter rather than plastic, which gives the feeling and appearance of better quality. My daily-wear watches do not lead an easy life, frequently exposed to water submersion, bumps, jolts and other abuse, so I feel confident that the design of this one should hold up pretty well. The multi-line display is also a pleasing characteristic. Unlike some models that have all sorts of gaudy dials, colors and other useless info, this one somewhat no-nonsense and practical. Rather than cramming all the info into 1 or 2 small LCD lines, this one has 3 lines which concurrently display the day of the week (along with the alarm and chime setting), date and time. The bottom line showing the time is made up of larger characters than the others which is helpful when quickly glancing at the display to check the time of day (or stopwatch, timer, etc, depending on the current mode). One thing that is always a "must" for me when choosing a watch is a reasonable amount of waterproofness. This one is rated for 200 meters which is more than enough for the frequent splashes and immersions due to many different activities in which I participate. I never have to worry about taking it off when swimming, cleaning/washing items or other wet conditions. To sum it up, this is a great watch and I would recommend it in a heartbeat if you need a rugged daily-wear watch that looks good but isn't overly "gadgety".

Problem with clock synchronization
The clock is not synchronized for the accuracy of the time. There is a relevant application for this reason in the play store. And it's true. However, one doesn't buy such a watch to synchronize through a mobile app but automatically. I think that casio should further develop this particular watch regarding the reception of radio waves.

Great Atomic Watch choice
This is an edited review because of further experience in the ownership of this product.I want to start off by saying none of this reflects on the seller. They were great, the watch arrived ahead of schedule and was new in the box. I would not hesitate for a second to do business with this seller again in the future. However, the watch as a product from Casio is another matter. My first ever atomic clock-setting watch was actually a Timex unit, and the only reason I stopped wearing it was that the rubber hoop through which the band passes to synch to your wrist had broken, and because it is a part of the watch casing itself, there’s simply no replacing it.So, I bought this particular watch as a replacement, and it worked well for a time. However, it will glitch up after anything from a few days to a couple weeks as you actually use the controls, and at some point it will go *poof!* and completely reset itself. This can be very frustrating if you’re actively trying to use the built-in timer or stopwatch functions, to say nothing of no longer having the right time and date on the watch itself.I said previously that pulling the battery and shorting the terminals in the watch and then re-installing the battery seems to help. About the only “help” it provides, sadly, is to somewhat prolong the delay until the next time the watch glitches up and resets itself.I wound up buying another, slightly different model Casio Waveceptor from my local Walmart. This unit is the more athletic model, and the one I bought from Walmart was the slimmer, more dress-watch model. It does the EXACT same thing as this watch. Now, I have absolutely no idea why Timex stopped selling, as far as I can tell, *any* atomic clock-setting watches, but I can say this much: I will *never* buy another atomic-setting watch, or possibly any other kind of watch, from Casio, until such time as they deal with whatever quality control issues are plaguing their manufacturing (and/or design) process.Again, this isn’t the fault of this seller, but I would strongly encourage you, the potential buyer, to reconsider buying a Casio-manufactured atomic watch.
