This small booklet is a convenient guide to Creative Thinking.It delineates the necessary thinking elements of thought that allow for free conceptual play with combinatory results.The mind in using this given framework of conceptual play becomes very fluid with many options being entertained.The whole idea of creative thought is to connect the unconnected;that which others have not seen.This booklet is a literal Gold mine to enhance are way of looking at things in many different ways.The more ways the better.Only one way is needed which Albert Einstein described as the right way.I carry this up=dated version with me in my back pocket.Highly recommended to those who are searching for Truth and Beauty.Dr. J K Paisley

I wish I knew about this before I spent the money on the whole book.

this (short) book is essentially an extended definition of 'critical thinking'...if you happen to be (largely) unaware of the concept, this book could be a useful first exposure, though you might do as well simply looking up 'critical thinking' in Wikipedia...speaking purely personally, there is nothing in this book i haven't long understood...if you were hoping to find (practical) ideas that would help extend a critical thinking ability to the larger (world) populace, you'll be out of luck here...

IMO, critical thinking is the best example of human potential as an evolved trait. Thinking critical either exposes one’s ego or contributes to a higher self esteem unless you’re a sociopath, psychopath, or an ego maniac. Whether you’re contemplating groceries, a marriage partner or a vacation, good critical thinking skills will allow you to do your best and that’s all anyone can hope for.

Great and a quick guide to incorporating critical thought into daily life circumstances. Will probably be re-reading this many times over to get at different implications of the principles laid out.

I recommend this book to everyone who wants to improve the quality of their thinking. It is an excellent and handy reference resource.

This book provides the core elements of critical thinking and can be used as a checklist for key points to bear in mind.

The Foundation for Critical Thinking is a great website, but to have so many concise and helpful thoughts, questions and ideas at your fingertips is even better. This book has helped me prepare some slides and questions for my students and is a very useful resource. So glad for this "travel-size" wealth of thinking material!
