DELTA T14253 Vero 14 Series Function Trim Kit with Single-Spray Touch-Clean Rain Head, Chrome Shower Only, Without Rough

Trim Kit works fine and looks good But the showerhead shoots water out of the top outside edge where the bottom and top rectangular pieces meet. It started about a month after installation as a dribble out of the side and got worse from there. After less than 3 months of use, it now shoots water upward and out which clears the 82 inch high glass shower wall and sprays all over the bathroom. Obviously that makes it completely unuseable. Like many other reviewers, I agree for this kind of money you expect more. I would recommend you AVOID this showerhead and find the trim kit somewhere else alone.UPDATE: Delta contacted me and with no hassle provided a replacement shower head that as of the 1st 5 days, hasn't yet leaked. I'll hope they have found and fixed whatever was causing these previous problems and up my stars from 1 to 3. If after a little more time it is still leak free, I'll update again.

The first thing is: it isn't brass. It's some kind of potmetal that's been dyed to look like brass...or maybe plated by someone in a hurry. Why wouldn't you just make the thing out of brass? Is it that hard to obtain brass? For the *very* premium price I paid, it isn't worth it. I only got it so I wouldn't have to replace the shower rough-in which is Delta. I am keeping it only because my wife likes the shape and it's functional...but the fake brass coating will wear off very soon I think. I do not recommend buying it. And Delta has lost any future business from me as I upgrade the rest of the house's plumbing. Yet another once great American brand brought low by people who take no pride in what they make.

We flip homes and have used this in many homes. Almost every one of them leaks from the shower head. The rubber gasket gets pushed into the shower post and a leak develops. So bad we refuse to buy anymore of them. Its appears the gasket is a bit too small to keep in place or more likely the shower head post is a bit too big

It looks great, very spa like. Functionally it is fine too. The design of the faucet and how the faceplate attaches is weak (literally), which means the faceplate torques the screws it connects to so it makes it very difficult to install it tight enough to achieve a watertight fit. I like the faucet but probably wouldn't purchase it again because of that reason. The shower head cracked and leaked at some point over a year after installed. To be fair, it could have been installed too tightly thus causing the crack. Delta customer support quickly remedied the issue and sent a new shower head. 5-stars for their customer support.

I purchased this in preparation for a bathroom remodel last year and due to some delays, it didn't get installed until December of last year. By January 2017, the fixture was already leaking and spouting water over the top through the seams. So, I reached out to contact Delta and they said they would ship out a different shower head because this one wasn't compliant in CA, which is something that should and could have been prevented through Amazon, they shouldn't have allowed shipping to CA. The replacement, RP50841, was half the price of the original Vero shower head and arrived by 1/24. At this point, I just wanted a working shower head and it worked for approximately a month. On 3/5, this new fixture started spouting water over my glass shower wall. I contacted Delta again and they shipped a different fixture, RP62283, which is even cheaper and smaller. I don't want ever want to use Delta again, it's sad how poor their quality control is, it's too bad it's too late for a refund.

My husband selected this shower for the finish, which is beautiful, but it's the way the water comes out of the shower head that is the real winner. It is EXACTLY what you want a "rain head" to be. Firm spa style pressure but the streams of water are unusually soft. We bought this for an outdoor shower and it makes for an incredible shower experience (it is aimed straight down like in the picture). We had my daughter and five friends stay with us last weekend and they lined up to use that shower. One young woman said, "I think the key to world peace would be if everyone had that shower" Enough said. We bought a second shower head (head only) for our inside shower as well because we love it that much!

Third time in a year and 2 months I have to replace these ones! I am really losing trust in this dear "Delta"!I have bought Delta (Delta T17253 Vero Monitor 17 Series Shower Trim, Chrome) because I trusted you, but I am frustrated anymore with dripping, trying to stop dripping. I am very disappointed and I will have to look at another brand now!

The shower head started leaking from the top about 2 months after installed. I thought maybe the screws were not tightened enough so I tighted and double checked everything, and to no avail. For almost $400 you would think you could trust this being a good product but no! Return policy is only 30 days and within 60 days this thing is leaking like crazy. Not really a rain shower but a hail storm as the water just comes out in buckets... Terrible buy!

I ordered this through Amazon and am pleased so far (4 months in). Good water coverage, looks nice, and is fairly flexible if you wanted to rotate or change.When they say Valve Not Included, MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THAT! It means going to the Delta site and finding the product number, then placing the Amazon order. Somewhat frustrating that the lead times for all the products are different (hard when planning a project), and so I wound up grabbing the valve at another retailer (after my plumber helped me figure out what I needed).One regret I have is not getting brushed nickle. Because there's so much chrome, the water spots kinda trigger my urge to wipe it down frequently!

Sent it back it was a watered down version of the T17T253 had fake chrome plastic pieces .
