Not much more a home monitor camera can offer
This is a great addition to a home security system or for simple home monitoring. Viewing remotely on a smartphone is easy. Plus, it can be integrated into Panasonic's home security system to have recordings triggered by components other than the camera itself. The video quality is excellent. With the camera set to its higher resolutions, there may be a slight delay when watching on a phone cell-network. Our experience when at home, is that there is no delay at all. If your home or phone's internet speed causes a delay on its way to your phone, you can reduce the camera's resolution to speed things up. We've decided to leave ours at the crisp-clear high resolution--- it seems too sharp to give up over a slight delay in seeing it from the phone. The camera is loaded with accessory features. It can respond to motion or to sound, and report the room's temperature. Really nice info when away from home. The lens is very wide angle so that no panning is needed to view a super-wide expanse. If you want to record with it, you can add a micro-SD card. We added a Sandisk card that performs perfectly with this camera. Working great for us is: .There's not much more a home monitor camera can offer. A number of sensors: sound, motion & temperature, to keep you in touch with things at home, recording ability to a micro-SD, and super-clarity when you want to see what's happening at your place. We are very happy with this purchase and believe others will be happy as well.

Great qaulity video and easy to use!
Great qaulity and price! Got it after a package was stolen off my front porch. It is very easy to set up. Download the app on your smartphone and follow directions in the app to add the camera. It takes great qaulity day/night videos with sound. Can add any size memory card you want and set it to record over the old video when full. Can sit on a flat surface or be mounted to the wall, camera angle is fully adjustable. The only downside is that you have to be home (on same internet network) to see the live video on your phone or update recordings, but you can set it to notify you when motion is detected remotely. Can use it as a two way speaker with your phone to talk to someone in the room. Can evrn take a still shot photo with it. I got a used one and it works great!

I like these Homehawk Cams. Always on - good recordings. Not too expensive.
I already had 2 new ones I had purchased a year ago. This one gave me fits installing it. But when I did, all I got was a black screen with a picture of the cam which showed an arrow pointing down. I was on the verge of returning it, when i realized that arrow may mean I needed to pull a ‘shield’ or something off the lens. Indeed it was! A screen that slides down & unveils the lens. All is well now. Trying to figure out how to cancel the initiated return now!

Very poor integration with my existing Panasonic Smart Hub system.
I have a fairly extensive Panasonic home monitoring system that all connects to the KX-HNB600 smart hub. This system promotes that I can add the Panasonic HD camera. Thinking this seemed like a nice upgrade I purchased the Panasonic HomeHawk KX-HNC800B. The camera seems great as a stand alone camera but it is almost useless with my existing smart hub. I use this system as an alarm. With the smart hub there are 3 arming modes. Arm At Home - Arm Away - Disarm. The Panasonic HD camera (KX-HNC800B) DOES NOT WORK with these arming modes. You can set up the camera to notify you during a specific time period but that's it. If I set this HD camera to notify me when there is motion there is not way to arm or disarm it. It just notifies me very time there is motion all day and night . If you are invested and savvy with your Panasonic Smart Hub then you will be extremely disappointed how this camera integrates into your system.

When it stays connected to my WIFI it works great.
I have two of these in two different houses and they don't stay connected to the WIFI in either house. I have one on a WEMO WIFI controlled switch at our vacation cabin and have to turn it off then back on almost daily to get it to talk to the internet so I can view the video. The other one in our home is the same I have to unplug it daily or every other day.

Best home security cameras for the price and no monthy service fees
I already had three of these cameras (now I have five in the house), so I knew what I was getting ahead of time. I am very pleased with the performance of the cameras and they really are quite simple to set-up. Just follow the instructions that come with each camera. I did initially have a little trouble setting up these two new cameras. At first I thought the problem was due to my wi-fi modem/router settings; no not that. I then noticed on the HomeHawk phone app under "Settings>Mobile Device Settings" that my "Remote Access Mode" phone setting was set to "UDP" so I changed the setting to "TCP". This resolved the issue. Now all five cameras work perfectly and I can control them anywhere from my phone with ease. I would buy again if I had the choice. Thanks Panasonic for a wonderful home security system that I can monitor 24/7 entirely from my phone.

Slick, discrete unit, easy set-up, flawless app
Been keeping tabs on my home while out of state via iPhone. Working great for about a month now. The time-stamped recorded files are easy to remotely access, zoom in on or delete. I was worried when I updated the iPhone and loss the connection which had allowed me to view (although the motion alerts kept arriving and the recording still continued) I thought I might have to fly back just to reset, but the connection finally returned on its own about five days later. The very helpful product service person I called (no charge) recommended not taking the chance of doing updates until you were close enough to reset physically if necessary.

Great camera for the price
This is a great little camera for the money. It's easy to set up and simple to program. I was able to set it to record video on a certain day between certain hours and it's worked beautifully. Very good video quality, I think. It's easy to pull up on my iPhone and watch a particular video. I did purchase the little SanDisk video card in order to have greater recording capability, and I would certainly recommend purchasing one in addition to the camera. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Muy facil de utilizar
Fácil de utilizar, sin embargo el software deja qué desear, la exploración es lenta y no se pueden descargar los videos al telefono, hay que descargar de la tarjeta retirándola.
