Upon purchasing, I didn't realize that the cap was so large, as the hose it connects/adapts to is relatively small in comparison. I don't recall cap specifications being mentioned in the description. I have a Tera-Pump that I would like to use, however diameter-wise it is too small to screw onto this jug. I'm not aware of any adapter that would allow the Tera-Pump to be used with these jugs. If a reducing adapter is out there, or if another solution is available, I'd like to know. That's all.

Way better then normal gas cans

I like these cans for gas. Easy to pour since our government has destroyed gas can nozzles making them non-usable.

The best thing about having your boat on a lift on the lake is that its super easy to take the boat out for a spin and put it back when you are done. The worst thing about having the boat on a lift if taking fuel to, especially with the amount of fuel today's V8 boat engines consume. These jugs work absolutely perfectly to transport fuel from the pump to the lake. With the attached hose they are perfect to pour into the boat with minimal spillage.What I have learned is that while you can get close to 6 gallons into each of these only fill them to just over 5.5 gallons as that makes them much easier to pour out. When you fill more than 5.5 the breather hole tends to get covered by fuel inside and then you get 'glurping' and fuel spilling. When you fill to 5.5 or 5.6 gallons it's perfect.I will likely buy one or two more of these next year.

They are heavy but very easy to pour from

I appreciate these gas cans for the speed of pouring that they provide. However, an external handle that could be grabbed (instead of hooked with partial fingers as provided on the bottom) on the same side of the top handle and vent, but near the bottom and still on the side as noted would be a game changer with this design. The handle would need to be solid and not hollow to help avoid breakdown with use over time. I am not small or weak by any means (6’1” & just over 230 lbs.). I work as a firefighter and understand mechanical advantages. That is why I offer this recommendation on multiple purchase points for hands on a 5 gallon live load container. If you’re looking for one of these cans with the current design, this is the best deal that I found on the internet. I hope this helps!
